When I finished moving my tools and stuff to the workshop, I needed to decide what project to build. I laid out my books with projects and searched until in Anarchist’s Design Book by Christopher Schwarz I saw the photo of “Staked Chair”. I liked the look, so I decided to build it. Long story short and after many days of work and a lot of learning it is done.
In retrospect, It was a really ambitious project. Bending, turning and compound angles are things I had zero experience with. I’m glad I took the challenge because now I feel my skills have skyrocketed compared to the time I was working only on weekends.
With that in mind, I already selected the next project. I will report back soon.
